FAQ

Questions About This Offer

Most manufacturers recommend flushing a tankless water heater at least once a year. With the hard water in the Phoenix area, scale builds up faster, so an annual flush is the minimum. Homes without a water softener may benefit from flushing more often.
Your technician isolates the unit, circulates a descaling solution through the heat exchanger, flushes it clean, cleans the water inlet filter, checks the valves and connections for leaks, and runs the unit to confirm it is heating properly.
Common signs include water that runs lukewarm or swings between hot and cold, lower hot-water pressure, longer waits for hot water, a scale or limescale error code on the display, or unusual noises from the unit.
A flush requires isolation (service) valves on the unit. If yours does not have them, your technician will quote the valve installation before any work begins. Once installed, future flushes are quick and simple.
Regular maintenance helps protect it. Many tankless manufacturers require routine descaling to keep the heat exchanger warranty valid, and scale damage is often not covered. A professional flush keeps your unit in line with those maintenance requirements.
